    Rock Band.

We imported Rock Band1 for PS3 cause it was out way earlier there, and after playing RB2 at my friends last night on xbox I really want it. Gah!!

I love the game, it's so much fun to play with a group of drunken friends. Our first song last night was Eye Of The Tiger, we were so chuffed, hahaha. Yes we are all in our 30s.

As part of my OH birthday present I've bought him a drum throne. We currently have to sit on one of my small tables.

    I Rock bank so much.

We have the full-set up for RB1...
but only have the disk for RB2 that Will rented from Gamefly...

    Eventually we may buy it.

Wait till you get to the 8 song mystery set that everyone can ONLY play on Hard or Expert

    We're still playin' on Easy.

I think I might pick up the disc for Rock Band 1 so we have them both.  That way I can play me some Aerosmith who were somehow excluded from Rock Band 2.  :x

What Aerosmith song is on Rock Band 1?  ETA: "Train Kept A-rollin" by Aerosmith!
    I don't remember there being any...but it's been awhile since I played.

I'm sure they are on Guitar Hero though!

I used to only be the singer...or *microphonist* as I termed myself

I finally tried the guitar and am playing Medium....
I watch Will and my nephew on Hard and I'm like "NO fugging way am I ever getting off Medium"!

I actually like the songs on 1 better so far...
but the format of 2 is better.
    Did that make sense?

    :x damn typo

We used to play a lot more than we have here lately!
Probably get back to it after the New Year.
Of course, you have to have booze involved!

One of our friends girls who are 8 and 11 can freaking Rock out on the drums and mic.
First time they played, I thought they had played before and they were like "NO, we were watching your cousins and learned how"

    8-)

We never miss a week, we have a riot when we get together.
Our drum kit has seen better days though, the red drum is holding on with duct tape securing it.

I'm ok on everything up to medium then I struggle a bit, I can get through songs but with low scores. My OH hammers that game and is pretty good on expert.

Our foot pedal has been duct taped.
Other than that ~ we've had to buy a new mic.

I figure when we purchase RB2 .. we will get the whole kit and kaboodle and the aduts ONLY will play with the new instruments and the kids get the broken shit.

It took an adjustment to incorporate the blue note and the doubles....and I didn't think I was ever going to be able to hit the red / blue together.

Rock Band is the only video game my bf can get me to play outside of my Super Nintendo

  My red drum completely fell off.  I have to reconnect the broken wires and duct tape it to use it again.

Our foot pedal broke too and my OH fixed it with a piece of wood and some adhesive. It's held for quite a while.
I think it's broke because I can't seem to keep my heel on it and tap, I have to lift my whole foot and stamp on it every note.

Plus the bit where the lead goes into the mic, the little plastic thing, that broke and we fixed it with electrical tape.

So like you, we'll be getting the whole set up again when we get RB2.

They have the guitars for the Xbox on sale at the local GameStop here for $17.

We have it for Xbox 360...

I was pissed when the red ring of death occurred a couple months ago.
Luckily...whoever originally bought it before my boy got it from game stop had never registered it.
So Will called them....they registered it - then sent us a brand new one after we shipped them the dead one.

At that time..the only XBox 360 games we had were Rock Band and Guitar Hero.

My bf bought me a wireless for my birthday last year.
