There's not much point in me cooking full meals these days without my disposal husband here to finish off everything. My kid and I only eat a little compared to him and I find myself throwing away a lot of food. I've been buying frozen dinners and these things are great.
Not real food, but:
Anyone have any low-cal soup recipes? I've been craving soup.
I'll have to try those. By this point, I could be a frozen dinner critic. The fajita style reminded me of Chili's Southwestern Eggrolls.
I had those for lunch yesterday - pretty tasty!! Fatty's still trying to lose the baby weight. As far as a low call soup goes: this is good http://www.recipe.com/italian-vegetable-soup/
I've actually been surprised by Smart Ones lately. For a frozen meal, they're really not too terrible.
I think my idea of frozen meals was still stuck with the Kid Cuisines from 20 years ago.
Since Kraft Mac & Cheese from a box is no longer an option, help me out guys. I'm having a party on Saturday to celebrate my new job. I'm relocating so I don't have a lot of time to set things up but I need to provide food and drink for 25 people. Any ideas will be greatly appreciated.
My favorite soup recipes!
Sounds weird, but this tastes so fucking good.

I don't sell crack, I'm a prostitute.
I can't rep you but I wanted to thank you for these. I have been scoping Pinterest for low-cal soups, and the ones you listed sound much better than the collection I have so far.
I found a mushroom cap pizza recipe. Well, it's not really a recipe, but I freaking love mushrooms and it sounds nom. Scoop out a portabella mushroom, pat it dry (after wiping it clean), bake for a few minutes, fill with pizza sauce and toppings, then cover with mozzarella and broil for 1-2 minutes. Low cal and easy.
I went to Costco and bought a bunch of alcohol and snacks. Now no one has to eat my cooking. Problem solved!
I just came back from Ghana, and I vowed that while I was out there, I was going to eat like they did.
I discovered the most delicious food. This is fufu:
spicy groundnut soup with chicken. You eat it with your hands, scooping it up with the fufu itself. Fufu is pounded cassava root and pounded plantains mixed together, and it feels like gummy elastic.
most delicious thing I have ever had. I miss Ghana already.
I was born to hustle roses down the avenues of the dead.
i want to eat food in ghana. that top photo looks delicious.
i ate at kuma's in chicago. where they only play metal and all their burgers are named after metal bands. i had the lair of minotaur: bourbon soaked pears, pancetta, brie, caramelized onions. soooo good.

we pretty much got right in, but the place was packed and business was steady. my bff4e used to live right around the corner and he said that we saw it as slow is it gets, that it is common to see a line out the door. we were there on a tuesday night i can't imagine what it'd be like on a weekend.
I'm going to Kumas for the first time on Sunday!
