Casserole stuffing would be stuffing that you bake in a casserole dish rather than right inside of the turkey.

I just learned the other day that bird stuffing is "stuffing" and casserole style stuffing is "dressing". Not sure I'm buying that...thoughts?

I am pretty sure "dressing" is US specific as a term, but it makes total sense to me if the thing I recently "learned" is true. Growing up, anything that was bread + herbs was stuffing for me, too.
