Kim Laree Gulledge passed peacefully from this life into the awaiting arms of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, at her home surrounded by friends and family Tuesday, Sept. 16, 2008.
Memorial service: 2 p.m. Saturday at Shannon Rufe Snow Funeral Chapel. Visitation: The family will receive friends 6 to 8 p.m. Friday.
Kim was born July 22, 1959, in Fort Worth to Nona and Olan Kay Carlton. She grew up in Haltom City, where she attended Haltom High School. There she met her husband of 33 years, Roy "Wally" Gulledge, and raised three children.
Kim was the office manager for a small conversion company in the 1980s when she left to care for her elderly grandmother. She returned to work in the early to mid-1990s with Regency Conversion in accounts payable, where she became a regional sales manager. Later, she left Regency to become office manager for a dental firm in Hurst, Patrick Parish, DDS. Kim later left the dental office to care for her mother.
Kim loved her collection of music and movies, but especially loved just getting in the car and riding around seeing things and people around her. She had a distinct smile that would affect everything and everyone around her. Kim was at most in her element at her calling, which was caring for others. It was then that she reflected her Lord with her unconditional love for those around her. Doing what was right was one of utmost importance to Kim. We will see you again, but for now will miss you.
Survivors: Husband, Roy; daughter, Ivey; sons, Derrick and Ketcher; sisters, Darlene Hunter and Rene Wyle; and brothers, Glen and Charles Kay Carlton.
I am "me" and if you dont like it....FUCK OFF!!!
