I actually like this guy. What he says rings true to a certain extent and fits with my life experience, but Hodi is smart, she had a year to research possible defenses before she admitted killing Travis.

OK, I'm confused...did he say he suspected PTSD before he talked to her?
By correct i mean - What will fit ....
lol, Ive taken these tests, it is beyond simple to fill in the circle that will make you look the most like you need to.
Karma is only a bitch if you are!
Watch Juan turn this guy into yet another stellar witness for the prosecution.
Yup. .
PTSD does not cause the person to lie, compulsively.
It seems to me, that he could be talking about Alexander..fighting to get away from the bitch. I am so pissed that he is saying Arias was frightened for her life. Very upset. I hope the jury does not buy it.
How funny --- JA's fog didn't start til After she described how she obtained a gun & how a knife was close by... but after getting the weapons explanation & how they had come into play... Oop's this foggy woggy took over her memory, sooo convenient

Well over here in the Uk we have a questionnaire that is similar that is given to women who have given birth. The cambridge questionnaire. Works in much the same way and is used to determine if the woman may be displaying signs of postnatal depression.
I've filled in one of these questionnaires and I had postnatal depression and didn't want my midwife to be aware, I faked my answers so she wouldn't be alerted to it.
Jodi may well have done the same with this test.
So, he went in specifically looking for that diagnosis, didn't he? So much for objectivity....
Haha..there is she writing..probably going to set him straight.
I have a problem with Jodi being compared to our soldiers fighting in wars or police officers.

True, but unlike other experts -- say crime scene, ballistics, dna experts, etc -- there is nothing tangible about these kinds of witnesses; it's all opinion. We don't even have any proof that this guy did any of the tests he said he did.
I would like to know whether the defense psychologist was allowed to give Jodi tests as well.

I'm really not seeing how this is helping the defenses case at all

So he violated an ethical issue. I don’t see what this has to do with his work or knowledge though.

I’ve been having issues with hot water, heat and carbon monoxide here all week, so I haven’t had the chance to check in as frequently :-(
This actually explains a lot!

Someone mentioned Susan Wright here before, who stabbed her husband — 200 times — and was convicted M2 —.
Assuming Jodi did it all, which is not at all proven, her case seems a lot meeker.
Still can't grasp the fact that Stabby has confessed
I'm sure what he's saying is supported by medical literature. BUT if you cause the stressful event (by bringing a gun with you to kill someone, or brutally stabbing a defenseless man trapped in a shower) then who cares if you are traumatized or lose memory. And I think, based on the jury's questions, that they do not buy her story that Travis attacked her or that she was ever in any danger at any point during the murder. The jury has concluded that Jodi was in control from the moment she arrived at his house until she locked the bedroom door behind her.
