That would have been the shit to see right there. Cliff was amazing. That's why I'm more partial to Ride The Lightning and Master Of Puppets. I like some songs off Justice and the Black Album, but Newsted is no comparison to Cliff.

Cliff had a unique way of making the bass stand out, (Call Of Ktulu really comes to mind as a great example of that) whereas Jason was always just kind of playing the low end of the riffs.

It was at Joe Louis Arena in Detroit in the 80s. They were too worried about making sure their hair was moving together instead of sounding good.

yeah, but really...what good is the music if you're headbanging out of sync?

Hell, back in the Cliff Burton days, Hetfield was the man. I loved Metallica back then.

Saleen, you're obviously not a rock n' roll guy if you admit to knowing nothing about Metallica, so you're forgiven for saying that he looks like he sucks cocks. Metallica was THE metal band of the 80's.

I still may go see them when they come through here, since I've never seen them live. I can't imagine it being any good compared to the days of Burton, though. Kill 'em All, Master of Puppets and Ride the Lightning are legendary.

    You gotta be kidding me.

Oh, and considering the fact that Megadeth is pretty much 'The Dave Mustaine Band' cause Dave's got a different lineup every album + rehab trips + times he should have gone to rehab but didn't = Jamez winz!

I'm sad that Metallica's tickets are so expensive. I will probably never get to see them now.

Actually, that was a mistake on my part, for some reason I was thinking that RTL came out after MOP. I don't think Metallica ever really sold out. I do enjoy a few songs from Justice and quite a few of them on the black album. I just don't think they are as...well, solid (for lack of a better term) of album as the earlier stuff.

I just want to be able to say I've seen them live. I don't have to tell people when. LOL. And I've never really listened to Motley. Why? I do not know. I can't even say if I like them or not.

Have you lisented to the band Brides of Destruction? They have them on a jukebox at a bar here where I hang out and the album is fucking great! Nikki Sixx, Tracii Guns and some other guys are in the band.

I'm going to see Skid Row, too, next weekend. They've gotten better and better, too. My MySpace profile song is one of their new ones.

I have not. I have to be honest, I'm usually the furthest behind everyone when it comes to music. I don't listen to the radio, nor do I go to bars often enough to even gain the opportunity to hear new music. I'm pretty lame in the music department. I just kinda stick with who I know, and listen to them repeatedly (I think my Lamb of God CD has been playing in my car for about two weeks now?). LOL. I'll give 'em both a listen, though! As well as Motley.
