Richards "was of the belief that these sexual interactions would be a positive experience for (her daughter) and that Richards would receive sexual gratification" from watching, according to the affidavit.

I've heard this excuse before in similar cases.  Several parents and adults who have offered their young children up for sex have said they've done it because of the "positive experience" it would provide for that child.

First of all, what kind of warped thinking is that?  That's just as sick as offering up your child to fulfill another adult's sexual fantasy.  It's not a valid reason.  There is no valid reason for sexually abusing a child.  It doesn't make it better or "acceptable.'  It's sick and disgusting and now that child is going to have deep psychological scars for the rest of her life.  Everyone involved in this should rot in prison for life.

This is reason #21341242423905305  why I'm applying for the police academy.  This just strengthens my resolve.
