Which link are you using? Some of the links are better than others. Some of them are really slow. You get to know which links to use. Want some help?

Noooo!! Only use Youku as a back up! They are incredibly slow and tend to only load half way. Let me find you a good one

I just tried that one and it's loading pretty fast. It's an Asian one but that site is pretty good and generally fast. Press play and then pause straight away. Let it buffer for a couple of minutes before watching it.

It's only Part 1 of 8 though? Does that mean I have to find the other 7 parts. I'm lazy.
But holy smokes, it is loading fast.

No. That site always does it that way. When it gets to the end it will jump to part 2 and so on all the way through the 8 parts. Sometimes the screen jumps slightly when it changes parts and sometimes you won't even notice :)

As the series has gone on, it has kinda grown on me, but I agree that there is something missing from the show. This past week's episode focused far too much on Jason's "problem" and not nearly enough on the driving mechanism for the story. I like Anna Paquin, but I agree, she's not a good Sookie. She's too awkward and "like me, like me, like me!" And since I've read the books, it kinda annoys me that Tara is so prominently figuring in this early in the series.

But the guy playing Jason is great casting. I like Bill and Sam. And Eric is yummy, even if he's way too much in the Lestat mold.
[/quote]

Yeah, I don't get what they're doing with the Tara character at all.

I'm not really sure why the producers felt that "sassy black woman" was such a necessary addition to the series.

I'm pretty sure that the dumb female customer in the first episode that made Tara quit her job was the author of the books, Charlaine Harris.

No it wasn't, it was one of those 'Hey it's that chick!' actresses who always plays the fat busy body. Lorna Scott. SHe was in Wanted. http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0779514/

I think the thing with Tara is that she's like a total chick gay men love, so Allen Ball is probably obsessing. But I wish she and Sookie interacted more. They've had like two scenes together, and she's fighting with Sookie, so i don't see how they're best friends.

See, I knew I should have looked it up before saying anything! Lorna Scott looks a lot like Charlaine Harris to me.

I just find Tara's character very cliche. I think the show is interesting enough on its own merits, they don't need to add in stereotypes to rope in viewers.

I think Sam's a werewolf.

I thought something was off about him from the get go. But then there were a few indicators... dogs, the picture in his office of a wolf overlooking the girl... and then of course how he acted at the end of the most recent episode.

I have read the spoilers and yes, he is something like that. Not a werewolf, but close.

I think he mostly hates them because he wants sookie and she likes them.
