I HATE sports are like this now!! My son has played coaches pitch for 2 years now and last season we only won 2 games. His coach got on my last nerve bc he kept saying "it's only about having fun" blah blah...BULLSHIT!! Playing a sport is about WINNING!! You might not win them all...but dammit give them something more to try for. Besides...I didn't pay $75 for my kid to have fun! I paid for him to learn how to play ball...to learn competitiveness...to win AND to have fun doing it.

Ah, a sweet slice of a child-free zone.  I humbly worship at the Altar of Ron.  My husband's family is Mormon (Note: he isn't anymore) and most of his siblings are married and have children.  So my MIL is constantly talking about them.  She is always spamming my inbox with pictures and their appropriate randomness.  Not to mention, the SIL with small children has no pursuits outside of her kids so talking to her is like sitting down with Big Bird.  I think my MIL is trying to passive aggressively make me more "family" minded which isn't going to happen.  :lol:

Don't get me wrong, I want a baby someday (body and time willing) but it is not the pinnacle of existence.  I'd be cool with not having a baby too.

I have a kid.  I love her more than anything, but im done.  My uterus is perma-vacant from now on.  My maternal instincts do not, unlike most mothers, extend to other peoples children.  Id rather not hear about how many times baby so-and-so went #2 and the consisitency of it etc from other parents.  Hence why, despite having a kid, i avoid the parenting threads :lol:
