It isn't that bad once you get past the overwhelming nausea. Then they give you a break during the 6th month or so. But soon afterwards they are big enough to lodge a tiny foot in your ribcage somewhere. Come to think of it, I still haven't grounded Kai for that.

Yeah, my youngest (was over 10 pounds when he was born), left bruises on my ribs. The outside. Sleep didn't happen after about 34 weeks, because he was so big, and I was all baby... there was NOOO getting comfortable. It sucks at the time, but it was well worth it. :)

What's hilarious is that pregnancy stories are perfect for the complaining about kids thread. You're telling what the child-free folks already know, but it's still fun to hear.

I just fixed your post through. That shit at the end can go in other threads, not this one.

Because Ron. It's a baaaaaaaaby and I couldn't wait to force everyone around me to listen to my stories about changing her diaper and the consistency of what was in it.

Ugh. That is one of my biggest pet peeves about babies. The parents talking about their bowel movements.

Re: Ron's whining about kids/pregnancy/parenting thread.

There was someone on my facebook (who is gone now) that posted something about "Oh hahaha Gabe just pooped in his diaper and took it off and we can't catch him to clean him up. He's sat on the white sofa already and its everywhere. Hahahhaa lol isn't he cute?"

Um, no. Not cute. That's fucking disgusting. If he is old enough to pull off his diaper and run around the room, he's old enough to not wear a diaper anymore.

Speaking of...I wish my retard sister would get off her lazy ass and toilet train her 4 year old. Poor kid still has a pacifier too.

She expecting it to learn on it's own, or she just want a baby forever?

And I would be so FUCKING angry if I had a kid that did that shit. Pun intended.
What happens to some parents? Does that part of your brain get burned out at conception? After the birth?

I assume it's an evolutionary step that's in place so you don't kill the annoying/disgusting little fuckers.

My aunt (her mom) made a comment to her one time, she said something about "Oh my gosh, her dirty diaper was so big today!"

Her mom said, "Yeah, honey. That's normal." She was totally trying to get her to shut up about the baby shitting... but my cousin didn't get it. LOL.

That's exactly it. There's a huge backstory there, but basically every time she has a kid, and the kid gets older and doesn't "need" her as much anymore, she infantilizes the youngest until the next one comes along. She is an attention whore, and pregnant people/people with small kids get attention.

I had a girl that lived with me for about a month. She had a 4 year old boy, and a 2 1/2 year old girl. Her little boy only got potty trained because *I* did it. She wouldn't even get out of bed until 10-11am... so I had to potty train him. She was also EXTREMELY excited one day when he came up and showed her that he knew the color green.
WTF?
Time folks, that's all it takes. Time. My 2 year old is just about potty trained, we just have to work on the night-time training now. And it's taken me two weeks - that's it!
People are lazy these days, they expect their kids to grow up on their own.

Kai was walking by 9 months. She was toilet trained by 1. She could speak clear sentences by 14 months or so, and could read by 2. I worked with her a lot, and thought about having her tested for AS since I have it too, but now that she's older meh, she's just normal. But I digress.

What pisses me off is going to the store or wherever and seeing kids that are around 2 or older with a fucking bottle hanging out of their mouths.

YES, YES, YES!! By that age, I know that most kids can't drink out of real cups... but a fucking sippy cup, seriously! My kids were off their bottles when they were 10-12months. I threw them in the trash, never to be seen again. If they got thirsty, they drank out of a cup, or they didn't drink. Bottles are so useless anyway. And they fuck up their teeth.

I'm starting to think that there is a link between these lazy parents and the parents who expect everyone around them to do a jig of glee every time their kid coos or crawls.

Yea, that shit is WAY too much work. I ain't teaching someone how to use a fucking toilet.

These are all age specific gripes that parents seem to have. I almost feel like I'm in a parenting thread. I don't give a shit about potty training or bottles.

 When we first started training our youngest, he had accidents in about 15 pairs of underwear a day. Now, he MIGHT have one-two accidents a day, if he gets busy doing something, and just won't get up to go.

Yeah, parenting is not for the weak. Contrary to what a lot of men might think (well, and women as well), it's hard fucking work, and it's 24/7. Thank goodness I'm off today. Haha.

Oh, I realize that it's hard work. But if you don't want the hard work, don't have any fucking babies. It's pretty simple.

That's why I get pissed off when people want to concern themselves with my movies/music/video games. If your 11-year old is playing a game or watching a movie intended for adults, why do you want the shit banned? It's your fucking fault! Be a God damned parent.

I think the video game thing is the worst. They're not supposed to be sold to minors. Hell, 11-year olds don't have fucking jobs, so how can they afford a video game anyway? These parents are fucking delusional, stupid and they want the entire world to do their job for them.

For sure. There was a girl on my facebook that I went to highschool with, that I recently deleted because we got into a huge fight. EVERY DAMN DAY she was posting about how her son (5 months old, mind you) wouldn't let her sleep, or was crying all the time, or was fighting sleep, or was fussy... finally, I got so tired of looking at it, I just said, "Do you ENJOY being a mom at all?" Like, that's all NORMAL stuff. Babies cry, they fuss, and sometimes you can't figure out what the fuck is wrong with them. If she wasn't aware that all of that was going to happen, she didn't read the right books/talk to the right people. He was a normal baby, and she almost acted like she hated him for it. :(

And yeah, the video games... well, that's a big, huge, big issue for me. I won't go there.

4 years old? That is REALLY late. Does she not try at all?
My daughter was a late trainer, but not from lack of trying. I think she was about 3 years old when she was fully potty trained.

I heard that girls are harder to train, too... for some reason. I wouldn't know, I have all boys. It took my middle kiddo a little longer to learn (about a month), but so far my two year old is picking it up really quickly. I'm hoping to have him completely trained in about a week or so.

I've heard boys are harder to train actually. That's awesome that your kids trained early. Mine still wears a pull up to bed, but my doctor says that normal for a child. I hope she grows out of the bed wetting thing though. She's perfect during the day, but when she sleeps, she has problems.

Not a parenting thread. This better turn into complaining real soon.

I'm gonna call bullshit. Some parents say that babies don't do anything, and some say that they keep you up all night. You guys need to pick a story and stick to it.

Please elaborate about video games. It would be better to not mention it in the post at all than to say "I would say something, but I won't"

That's the kinda shit that makes people find you annoying.

I've heard boys are harder to train actually. That's awesome that your kids trained early. Mine still wears a pull up to bed, but my doctor says that normal for a child. I hope she grows out of the bed wetting thing though. She's perfect during the day, but when she sleeps, she has problems.

Have you tried limiting her fluid intake at night?
I had to do that with my 3 year old when I was training him, because he'd drink 2 cups of juice/milk/water too soon before bed, and end up wetting the bed, too. So, I started cutting him off from fluids around 6, and that way, when he went to bed around 7:30, he already peed it all out. AND he only got water, because it went right through him, so it'd get out faster. ;p Haha.

Not a parenting thread. This better turn into complaining real soon.

I didn't want to go into some long rant about how I feel about video games, in your hating kids thread, that's all.

Basically, I just think that parents that have "problem children" such as violence, getting into trouble, 90% of the time, need to look at the video games. I don't think that's the source of ALL problems, but I do think that when parents sit there and let their kid play video games for 3, 4, 5 hours a day... especially if they are inappropriate... they're asking for it.

But a kid's fluid intake seemed like a good fucking idea?

No, I think you're absolutely right. But when parents get mad about things like violent video games, or porn being produced.... IT IS NOT FOR KIDS. IF THEY SAW IT, IT IS YOUR FAULT.
Why do they want the things banned cause of their inept parenting?
