Jordan Bernhardt, 24, of McAlester, died Friday, July 25, 2008, in McAlester.

Jordan Bernhardt was born October 17, 1983 at McAlester to Allen and Carrie (Conner) Bernhardt. He married Brittany Cunningham on June 10, 2006 in McAlester. He attended Eastern Oklahoma State College where he participated in Choir and Theater, playing lead rolls in the productions of “Grease” and “Seven Brides for Seven Brothers.” He joined the Army National Guard in 2001, where he served active duty in Egypt in 2002. Upon returning he became an Army National Guard Recruiter for three years. He currently was employed at Eastok of McAlester. He was a Christian and attended numerous churches in the area. He loved the Lord, and loved to sing and play Christian & secular music. He was brilliantly talented, his presence on stage was captivating! He loved fishing, hunting and hanging out with family and friends.
