Some of the fatal accidents involving teenage drivers over the last several years.
May 9, 2001: Allison Reboratti, 19, died as a passenger in a car driven by Steven Filipak, 18, on Old Bethlehem Pike in Springfield. Filipak pleaded guilty to DUI and was sentenced to 21/2 to five years in confinement in a rehabilitation center.
July 16, 2002: Emily J. Rapp, 17, of Pipersville, died after her car collided head-on with a pickup truck on Durham Road in Ottsville.
Aug. 8, 2002: James Roberts, 19, of Dublin, died when he was thrown from a Jeep that he was a passenger in on Interstate 78 in Alpha, N.J.
Sept. 8, 2002: Christopher Snyder, 18, of Quakertown, and John Ruch, 17, of Telford, died after their car swerved into the southbound lane of Allentown Road in Franconia into another vehicle.
Nov. 20, 2002: DanaMarie Danchuk, 18, of Doylestown Township, died after she lost control of her car on Swamp Road in Buckingham.
Jan. 3, 2003: Greg Uhlman and Tim Sell, both 18 from Springfield, Bucks County, died in a car crash in Springfield.
Jan. 10, 2003: Michael Ness, 16, died when the car in which he was a passenger collided with a sport utility vehicle on Sandy Ridge Road in Doylestown Township.
March 8, 2003: Kathryn Stauffer, 19, who graduated first in her Quakertown High School class, was killed in a car accident on Interstate 95 in Glynn Country, Ga., on her way to spring break.
Aug. 13, 2003 — Tyler A. Newsome, 17, of Hilltown, died after being thrown from a motorcycle on Fieldstream Drive.
Aug. 22, 2003 — Kyle R. Weaver, 16, of Perkasie and Aaron Hein, 16, of Trumbauersville, were killed when their car hit a tree off winding Weiss Road in Milford.
Sept. 19, 2003 — Jessica Karrat, 13, died after the SUV she was in flipped on a winding Milford road. Shane Weaver of Quakertown, the 17-year-old driver, was later found guilty in juvenile court of involuntary manslaughter.
Sept. 21, 2003 — Matthew R. Holt, 18, of Quakertown, died after the car he was in missed a curve and crashed into an embankment and a tree off Yankee Road in Richland.
Nov. 1, 2003 — A Central Bucks West graduate who had joined the Army died in a car wreck by Fort Irwin in California, where he was stationed. Pfc. Jed W. Lindstrom, 19, was from Warrington.
Nov. 2, 2003 — Nicholas Melia, 17, of Nockamixon, was killed when his car crashed into a tree off Route 611 in Pipersville.
Jan. 23, 2004 — Matthew T. Dinicola, 18, was killed in a fiery one-car crash on Valley Forge Road near North Penn High School.
May 5, 2004 — Adam Weissner, 18, of Huntingdon Valley, died after his car crossed the center line near Manor Drive and hit an oncoming box truck.
Aug. 20, 2004 — Two 19-year-olds from Glenside were killed after their car hit a tree off Jenkintown Road in Abington. The victims were Matthew Bythrow and his front-seat passenger, Michael Hepler.
Nov. 16, 2004 — Scott Giroud, 17, of Springfield, Bucks County, was a passenger in a car driven by a 19-year-old that struck a pole on Route 309 in Quakertown.
Dec. 28, 2004 — Christopher Pagan, 19, of Tinicum, was killed in a two-car crash at River and Headquarters roads in Tinicum.
Jan. 10, 2005 — Kyle Kelly, 17, of Haycock, died when his car struck a tree and rolled onto its side off Old Bethlehem Road in Haycock.
Feb. 2, 2005 — Brandon Boger, 19, died nine months after being critically hurt in a wreck in Buckingham that injured four other classmates.
Sept. 29, 2005 — Tony Brandariz of East Rockhill, Louis “Nico” Julia of Hilltown and Christopher Smith of Hatfield, all 16, were killed in an accident in Hilltown.

Feb. 7, 2006 — Joshua S. Miller, 18, died from injuries he suffered Jan. 21, 2006, when his car hit a tree on Cat Hill Road, near his home in West Rockhill.
March 17, 2006 — Silas Peters, 17, a Pennridge High School junior, was killed when his car struck another vehicle head-on in Hatfield.
May 31, 2006 — Jonathan Krist, 19, died in Solebury when he lost control of his car as he headed home from a friend's house after drinking.

Sept. 17, 2006 — Cole Ferdock, 18, died after he lost control of his car and crashed into a utility pole on Trumbauersville Road in Richland. Authorities said his blood alcohol content was 0.24.
Dec. 2, 2006 — Benjamin Fulgham, 19, of Buckingham, was killed in a three-car wreck on Route 413 in Plumstead.
