Who killed Annie?

Dear Everyone.

December 4, 2005 my daughter Annie was found dead on the shore close to the airport in Prestwick, Scotland, UK. In her luggage she had her Swedish passport and two library books that she intended to return to a library in Sweden. Annie also had an appointment with her hairdresser in Sweden Dec. 5. That fact and that she carried those things in her bags and was found close to the airport, strongly suggests that she was on her way home to Sweden. At the time Annie lived in Edinburgh about 120 kilometers from Prestwick.

Annie was a very beautiful young woman, 30 years old, 1.72. cm, blue eyes, waist long blond, very thick hair. She was healthy and well-built and also a very good swimmer. As a person she was very happy and lively, she was friendly and verbal. Annie was also a very good singer and liked to perform in front of an audience. She spoke several languages, English, French, Finish and Hungarian.The reason Annie went to Scotland was that she always wanted challenges in her life and liked Scotland and the Scottish people very much.

The days before Annie died she among other things had paid the rent for a whole month, had a vaccination, had a job appointment and bought a leisure card to be able to go swimming. The days before she died she called home and it then got obvious to us her family, that she was under some kind of threat.

When we got Annie back to Sweden we got to see that her waist-long hair was chopped off! We also discovered that there were several bruises on her body not even mentioned in the post mortem report. One of them on her temple like from the edge of a hand and there were also square bruisnings on one of her arms suggesting Annie was lying on to an object transported to the shore.

Due to this and several other very strange circumstances as well as Annie's personality, we her family and her friends, that knew her so well, are all convinced that Annie was the victim of a crime. However the Scottish Police and Crown Office are refusing to investigate Annie's death as a crime and are also refusing to investigate what happened to her hair! What happened to my daughter shows that murdering a foreigner and cutting of that individuals hair is no crime in Scotland!

Wow, it is not like the UK is a 3rd world outpost. That is really pathetic that they seemed to have "blown" this off ( for whatever reason).

Your a testament to Mothers who never give up for those that they love.  My thoughts and prayers are with your cause and that justice comes to both you and Annie.

May I ask a few questions? What did they rule your daughters death as? Example: Accident, Suicide, etc.

I read your daughters website. I am gathering that her hair had been cut in a bad manner? Like someone was in a hurry, not her getting a new hair style?

I am so sorry about the death of your Beloved Annie.  I hope that you will uncover what/who took your little girl.  I so admire your tenacity and courage to share your story.  Losing a child is tragic enough but to lose and have so many unanswered questions must be truly unbearable.

I'm really sorry for your loss and I can't imagine the pain and rage you must feel knowing something isn't right about your child's death and that the authorities aren't doing their job. But you should keep going even if people turn their backs, sooner or later someone will reach out to you with information. Maybe the police or medical examiner will get a guilty conscience because of their indifference will contact you and help you.

Actually we are talking about a lot of lives here, Mr Procurator Fiscal, Mr Alex Salmond, Mr Kenny MacAskill; this must now surely be your WAKE UP CALL.

Think back in Scottish history; think about your HERO William Wallace and that he is a hero even today for not only you people in Scotland, but also for a lot of us other people in other countries.

I read an article about Sir Sean Connery. He is fighting for a free Scotland. Is that not what you strive for? And I also read that he still believes that he can go home one day when Scotland is free.

But to have the strength to succeed with that YOU must take care of the people who live in your country first.

To be a great leader you must have the people’s trust and you must protect and take care of the people, through earning their respect.

Open Your Eyes, take a fresh breath of the winds from the Highlands, look at the beautiful landscapes and think of the reason you were elected.

You owe your loyalty to the people of Scotland

Think about ALL the people who are working to get the truth, Justice and closure … the families, relatives and friends who have dedicated their lives to get the truth, to help, to support, to care.


THEY ARE TRULY A GREAT ASSET

Free those who are put to jail NOT GUILTY for the crimes they are convicted for.

Give families the help they need to get their cases properly investigated.

Give the children a safe country to grow up in and without child abuse.

Please help those in pain who are suffering in silence, those who do not have any strength to shout for help, or even ask God for help in silence.

Please help to do something to help the suffering people; the families, relatives and friends who are actually doing a LOT so the TRUTH will come out and JUSTICE will finally be SEEN to be DONE.

Annie Borjesson (RIP) - A Very Mysterious Death

It is now fast approaching 600 days (20 months) since Annie's very suspicious death on Saturday the 3rd or Sunday the 4th of December 2005, but still her family are no further forward in getting the proper answers they seek and finding out precisely what happened to her in the days and hours leading up to her untimely passing – and subsequently.  Why?

There is no doubt that the appalling actions (or inactions) of an ever intransigent and much-discredited Scottish Crown Office, and an equally indifferent and obdurate SNP  Scottish Executive, is the main reason for this case remaining very firmly … “CLOSED”.

My views of the two “good men” now at the centre of this “do nothing, don’t give a damn, couldn’t care less” stance are very well documented, both here and on other forums.  I KNOW, probably more than anyone, just how cruel, heartless and self-protecting they (and many others in their “ruling” SNP Executive) can be, and, frankly, the despicable treatment of Guje and her family comes as no great surprise to this scribe.  At the risk of repeating myself (though it can’t be repeated often enough), here is what now needs to be done for the Borjesson family:

Messrs Alex Salmond (Scotland’s First Minister) and Kenny MacAskill (Scotland’s - so-called - Cabinet Secretary FOR “JUSTICE”) must order an immediate, thorough and wholly independent investigation (no stones left unturned) into the Annie Borjesson case … NOW.  If they do not, then they should CLEAR OFF from the political stage back to being an economist and a lawyer, as their continued indifference and inaction displayed in this case, and MANY others highlighted in the links below, will merely prove that they are quite simply …… NOT FIT TO GOVERN.

If Messrs Salmond and MacAskill don’t like my message (tough!), then they know what now needs to be done for this very badly treated Swedish family.  They also KNOW where I can be contacted should they wish to rebuff any of my justified criticisms of them and their SNP “ruling” Scottish Executive … though, I’m not holding my breath waiting to be contacted given their past (despicable) behaviour over another very sad and tragic case, which is very well known to them both and many others.

Again, I would urge all Swedes and other nationals to express their moral outrage over Annie’s case, and let Messrs Salmond and MacAskill know exactly how you feel about their appalling treatment of the Borjesson family … the words UTTER CONTEMPT spring to mind.

I haven't had a chance to look at Annie's site yet but the show brought up some very interesting issues.

It seems clear that she was the victim of foul play.
I find it worrying that the Scottish Police do not seem to want to investigate. I wonder if there reaction would have been different if she were 'local'?

I remember some of the detail from the PPE show & will try to dig them up.

All was well, recalls Guje, until the week just before her death.

"Annie was the kind of girl who, if she had a problem, she would discuss it," recalls the 54-year-old. "She called her brother a few times, once to ask how people could be traced on computers. She didn't explain why she wanted to know. And then she said that we should not call her on the apartment phone.

"She seemed upset in some way. I called her on Friday, December 2 to ask her if she was all right," continues Guje. "I said 'Annie, what's the matter, we are very worried'.

"She said she couldn't talk, she was with a colleague. Then she said something I'd never heard her say before. She said 'You have to respect this, but I have to take care of myself'.

"It was very odd," Guje adds. "But I thought that, well, she's 30 years old, I can't interfere yet I'm her mother. I thought I'd leave it and telephone her later . . . "

If I remember rightly, they solved the thing about the cropped hair.  It was the funeral home who cut her hair because it was covered in mud and they cut it to try to make her look more presentable for her family.

Exclusive Mum Of Death Riddle Daughter Wanted To Buy Wig For Corpse

THE body of a Swedish woman who died in Scotland was sent home with her waist-length hair hacked off.

Annie Borjesson's mum is convinced her hair was chopped by her killer.

But the Crown Office have revealed it was cut by funeral staff who did not want the family to see it matted in mud and debris from the sea.

Police say Annie, 30, drowned herself at Prestwick beach.

But mum Guje, 54, who lives near Gothenburg with husband Karoly, said: "The funeral staff said they cut her hair but I don't believe they would have taken it like that. It was roughly hacked off.

"It looked so bad I even considered getting a wig because I knew she would not want to be left like that.

"My daughter had never cut her hair in her life."

The Crown Office said: "It was cut while preparing the body for transfer."

Pathologist Dr Alan J Cromie said: "The hair gets matted or dirty in drowning cases and funeral staff try to present the body as best they can for the family."

Musician Annie came to Edinburgh two years ago and worked at the city's Scottish Whisky Heritage Centre.

Her body was found on December 4, 2005. Her family didn't believe it was suicide and offered a £10,000 reward for information.

The Crown Office added: "There has been a full probe into the death. There is no evidence of a crime."

Does that make sense? Why didn't they just wash it? I would think hacking off the hair of the deceased would be a little out of line.

When my ex-BIL was killed he needed a shave but the funeral home didn't do it and by the time the family saw him they said it was too late. They said they don't do anything like that without specific instructions from the family.
