i remember watching a show, i think it was on A&E, or discovery, anyway they was talkin about how where the kid ran over him because of the way he was by the football player jock. they were talking about how biased the amarillo courts were, gave special treatment to the jock. as it said, he got 10 years probation for murder, but broke probation after getting caught drinking underage, at age 20. one part i remember was, they had some of his friends on the show too, one of them said he had asked the judge if it was deneke had killed the jock, what would have happened, and the judge told him "life in jail". its an interesting case really.

I live in a small town and there have been a few cases like this here. A couple of years ago two guys you know "good ole boys" were coming home from the bar drunk and hit and killed a man. A father of two teenage boys the guys knew what they had down seeing how they sent the truck down south for repairs.  It wasnt until the driver and his wife were in the middle of a bad divorce that the info came out.  And now almost 3 years later he is only on house arrest.  Wow what a slap on the wrist.  And recently a local math teacher was driving home drunk and hit a truck that was hauling a boat killing one man.  The driver of the truck with the boat was the deceased's son 2 more of his sons were passengers.  Small town justice the teacher was still teaching at the beginning of the year (this happened right before school started).  And the youngest son had him as a teacher.  Less than a month ago (here school starts in August) the teacher was arrested but released on bail.

I can't believe they let people get away with shit just cause who they are makes you wonder about OJ and all that shit haha.
But seriously this kid should have been able to find more justice than just 20,000 for his family.  RIP BRIAN

I hope Camp gets what he deserves somewhere in his life. Scumbag. Like most places, when I was in highschool we had fights all the time between two groups. The whole thing always seemed rather ridiculous at school, but taking it away from school is just ignorant. How could you hate someone so much based on their style, music taste, etc? Stupid closed minded redneck.

This happened in my town and though I only met Brian once, I knew people that were close to him. 
Dustin ran over him and said, "Im a ninja in my caddy, I bet he liked that one" after rolling over him.  As far as I know, he died in his little brothers arms.  I saw his brother at the gas station not too long ago and he looked older than his years and it made me feel so sad. 
It was disgusting.  It was also disgusting the way Dustin's mom defended her "baby" left and right, placing all the blame on the punks instead of her evil evil spawn.   
The released Dustin a few months ago, so he didn't even have to finish out his entire jail term for probation violation.  Brians parents were being interviewed on the news the night before Dustins release.  Their message was basicly one of love and it was heartbreaking to hear them talk.
Sad day and shitty town.....Most were shocked by the outcome.

That's awful that the only jail time he did was because he was drinking on probation. Do you know why Brian's family didn't try to move the trial? Or is that only reserved for specific crimes? (anyone else on that part?)

we basically are down with anyone that is truely down with us , as long as it isnt mainstream preppy people , and rednecks. I think really some of the stuff is true about juggalos , alot are white trash who grew up knowing no better, looking to a family to be in and watch their backs  all the time , and some of them go overboard with their actions , I saw alot of it happen at this years Gathering of the juggalos , Camping out and observing i noticed a juggalo who apparently was angered with his friend and lit a m-80 and burnt his tent down with it, and pissed on it to put it out, Another one i saw decided to shoot a mortar shell off at another campsite , so it was a little bad and i think before long it's gonna combust from the inside

i dated a boy like that (not a juggalo) and i feel sorry for the way they think. its pathetic.
