BURLINGTON, Iowa -  A 19-year-old woman from southeast Iowa faces sexual abuse charges in a case involving two boys.

The Des Moines County sheriff's office says Kourtney Babcock, of rural Yarmouth, was arrested on Wednesday on three counts of third-degree sexual abuse. She's accused of having sexual contact with two 12-year-old boys at a house in Mediapolis.

The investigation began in July.

Babcock was in the Des Moines County jail in Burlington on Friday on bond of $30,000. Jail officials didn't know if she had an attorney.

I just don't understand the attraction anyone could have for a child. People like this make me sick. I wasn't trying to excuse her actions in anyway and I do not look at it any different then I would a man doing the same thing. I was just saying that it is pretty easy for a woman to get laid, regardless of what she looks like. Well crap I didn't know this was here. This happened in my town. I was looking through her pictures but I don't recognize anyone.

I wish I would have seen it sooner. The articles from the local paper are archived now and I can't get them except for the first few lines. She's innocent though, because she doesn't remember it happening. This article says Yarmouth, ILL, which is incorrect.
