Jason Michael Gellhause, age 42, passed away peacefully on Friday, December 28, 2018, at Orlando Regional Medical Center in Orlando. He was born on April 1, 1976, in Daytona Beach, Florida to Jim and Robin Gellhause. As a child, Jason was a cub scout, football player, and roller speed skater. He was a 1995 graduate of Colonial High School where he served as the Senior Class President. Jason's passion in life was playing music and entertaining people. He began this career at the age of fifteen at Universal Skating Center and has been the DJ at Cowboys Orlando for the past sixteen years. Jason was also an on-air personality at Orlando's K92 FM and has DJ'd numerous weddings and events throughout the years. He enjoyed golfing, watching wrestling and making others smile and laugh. Jason had the ability to make everyone he came into contact with feel special and loved. He is survived by his Mother, Robin Gellhause; brother, Russell Gellhause; sister in law, Mary Gellhause; niece, Cameron Gellhause; sister, Mary Dube; niece, Sarah Dube; nephew, Sebastian Dube; uncle, Russell Abell; many cousins; 2 great uncles; 2 great aunts; and his dog, Blue. He was preceded in death by his father, Jim Gellhause. Jason was known as a giving person and even in death, his giving continues as his donation of organs and tissues has touched the lives of 53 people. Family, friends, and others whose lives Jason touched are invited to Cowboys Orlando, 1108 S Orange Blossom Trail, Orlando, Florida 32805 from 1- 4 p.m. on Saturday, January 19, 2019, to celebrate a life well lived, for a man who touched many lives and was taken from us way too early.
