The HLTTV committee and community have been saddened by the recent passing of past committee member and Vice President Camille Condon on Tuesday. Camille joined the HLTTV as a volunteer before her transplant and sat on our committee for 5 years as an elected member. She had a dedication to patient advocacy, supporting other transplant recipients, and fundraising.

She was the brains and the power behind many of our most innovative fundraisers, including the Breathing to a New Beat Technicolour Dream Book, the Wallendar, the Paint-Along and the Melbourne Marathon team. She was also one of the voices behind this page, and was responsible for much of our colourful promotional material including our Christmas Cards and BBQ posters. Flowers and rainbows in bright colours were her signature, so if you see those in our timeline you know it was her work.

Camille was diagnosed with a very rare cancer earlier this year, and knew that her remaining time was short. Even during this extremely difficult time she was thinking of our community, continuing to encourage those who wanted to show her support to join the organ donor register and donate to HLTTV. She was a great friend to many of our committee and members and is very missed and very loved.

A celebration of Camille's life will be held on Monday 29th of April, which would have been her 45th birthday.
