Online records Thursday showed that the man at the center of the Jenna Scott and Michael Swearingin case was released from the Michigan jail where he had been held.

KWTX reports that Cedric Marks has been in a Kent County Jail cell held on charges for his alleged role in Temple burglary stemming from a break-in at Scott's home.

It is believed that he is on his way back to Central Texas.

In a statement Tuesday, Bell County District Attorney said in a statement: "After his arrest for the pending burglary of a habitation charge arising from Bell County he agreed to waive extradition and we are awaiting his return. We anticipate that this will be in the near future."

Marks, 44, who calls himself "Spiderman" when in the MMA cage, has been all over the country during his adult life, records show.

He reportedly married Ginell McDonough in 2002 and is still listed as legally married.

McDonough is still listed at an inmate in the Muskegon County Jail, charged with harboring a fugitive and was ordered held in lieu of $75,000 bond.

In 2017, Marks' mixed martial arts career ended and he started teaching it in Killeen.

KWTX reports he met Jenna Scott and after a rough two years, she asked a judge for protection saying, "Marks threatens and hurts me and told me he had gotten away with murder before," records show.

But 264th District Court Judge Paul LePak in Bell County denied her request for a protective order in September.

Scott and her close friend Michael Swearingin were last heard from on Jan. 4, and their car was found abandoned in Austin.

Their bodies were found 12 days later in rural Oklahoma.

Marks was arrested in Michigan just a couple days of later with another girlfriend.

Maya Renee Maxwell, 26, who was arrested on Jan. 11 in Muskegon on a Bell County warrant charging tampering with evidence, admitted that "she was involved with leaving Swearingin's vehicle in Austin in hopes to conceal it from law enforcement, a warrant affidavit released Wednesday says.

She returned to Bell County late Tuesday night.
