The grieving family of Taylor Steven Wilcox, wants to share the news of his passing on May 4th, 2018. He left this earth unexpectedly, following complications from a routine surgical procedure. He was 27 years old. Taylor was born on April 8, 1991 in Salt Lake City.

Taylor was a light to all who knew him. His infectious smile, laugh and sense of humor made him a friend to all those he met. He was a friend of the underdog and always had a kind word of encouragement for friends and family alike. His courage was unprecedented; he met and overcame some of life's largest obstacles. His strength, resilience and optimism were some of his cardinal qualities. He attended Children's Discovery, Oakridge and Granite Elementary schools. While at Churchill Jr. High he thoroughly enjoyed the ballroom dancing program. He attended Skyline, Alta and Brighton High Schools.

Taylor met and married Lucia Guerra-Vigil while she was a foreign exchange student at the University of Utah. They later married and moved to her home in Gijon, Spain (later divorced).

He was raised in the Willow Creek and the Granite (Sandy) areas. Taylor is survived by his parents Vicky L. King, Scot B. Wilcox; brothers Cameron, Ethan and Chandler; niece River Ani; as well as his maternal grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins; along with his supportive and caring girlfriend, Cassidy Araklian. He loved his immediate and extended families so very much and always enjoyed being with them.

Taylor's courage and selfless love was further exhibited, as his wishes to be an organ donor for families in need, were fulfilled. Now, his light will continue to bless the lives of those recipients.
