Theresa Ann Canham, 64, Ozawkie, died Monday, January 29, 2018 at a Topeka Hospital after a battle with cancer. She had survived cancer in 2003, only to have it return in 2017. Theresa was born March 31, 1953 in Hiawatha, the daughter of Lester "Wayne" and Elizabeth "Betty" Lee Martinosky Lovelady. She was a 1971 graduate of Hiawatha High School and was a graduate of Joseph's Continental School of Cosmetology in Topeka. Theresa worked as a hair dresser at Appearance Plus Salon in Topeka since 1972. She was a member of St. Aloysius Catholic Church in Meriden where she served as music director of the choir and as church organist for many years. She was also a member of Beta Sigma Phi Sorority. She was married to Frederick "Fred" William Canham on October 27, 1973 in Hiawatha, He survives at home, she is also survived by her mother, Elizabeth "Betty" Hoar, Horton, one daughter Chelsea Ann Canham, Topeka, five brothers, Steven Lovelady, Horton, Richard Lovelady, Horton, Thomas Lovelady, Silver Lake, Gregory Lovelady and Mark Lovelady, both of Arkansas. She was preceded in death by her father,Wayne Lovelady and her step-father, George S. Hoar. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 AM, Friday at St. Aloysius church with Fr. Jim Moster, pastor, celebrating. Burial will follow at Ozawkie Cemetery. Visitation will be 6:00 to 8:00 PM, Thursday, with Rosary Recitation at 7:30 PM, at St. Aloysius Church.
