The Ada County coroner has identified the 25-year-old Eagle woman killed Saturday when the car she was riding in rolled into a fence as Jayme Ballard

The wreck happened at about 11:30 a.m. near the intersection of Linder Road and Hatchery Road in Eagle.

The Ada County Sheriff's Office says the driver - a 28-year-old man - was headed south on Linder Road in a Cadillac Coupe when he apparently lost control. The car went off the road and flipped, crashing through a wooden fence before coming to a stop in a field east of the road.

Ballard, who was riding in the front passenger seat, was pronounced dead shortly after being transported to a Boise hospital.

The driver and a 4-year-old boy in the backseat both escaped serious injury. Everyone in the car was wearing a seatbelt, according to the sheriff's office.

The crash remains under investigation, and no one has been cited, according to the sheriff's office.

Officials had said Ballard was ejected from the car. On Tuesday, the coroner said she was not ejected during the crash.
