Karen L. Robinson, 63, died of a heart attack on October 4, 2017 in Olympia, WA, her home of 32 years. She was born February 14, 1954 to George and Evelyn Quarnstrom in Bremerton, WA. She married Steve Robinson on February 2, 1980 in Reno, NV. After divorcing, she married Frank Hardin on July 11, 2009 in Olympia. Karen was a very social, friendly person. She had a great sense of humor and was adept at using sarcasm. She was loving, caring, open-minded, accepting and forgiving. Professionally, she was a mail process driver for Consolidated Mail Services at the Department of Enterprise Services through the State of Washington. She enjoyed cooking, reading, horseback riding, animals, crossword puzzles, and words. She also enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Karen is survived by her husband; son, Charles Robinson of Lacey, WA; daughter, Sara Montoya of Brighton, CO; eight grandchildren; brother, Larry Quarnstrom of Rochester, WA; and sister, Karil Dycus of Kent, WA. She was preceded in death by her parents; and sister, Bonnie Miller. Services will be held Saturday, October 21, 2017, 12:00 3:00 p.m., at the Jacob Smith House, 4500 Intelco Loop, Lacey, WA 98503.
