Obituary for Jesse Cole Egbert
The world became a little less bright on Tuesday October 17, 2017, as Jesse left us far
too soon from injuries due to a fall at work. He was born to Aaron and Kristine Thomas Egbert on January 19, 1983. Jesse loved family. He was fun, genuine, stubborn, incredibly handsome, and had a tender heart. Jesse loved everyone, especially children. He loved being called "Uncle Jesse". He loved the family farm, the outdoors, and was very athletic. At a young age he developed a strong work ethic, working alongside his dad and brother in masonry. Jesse also had a very special bond with his Mom. At the time of his passing, he worked for Necaise & Son Masonry. They were truly family to him. Jesse married his high school sweetheart, Jodie McIntyre (later divorced). Together they had a beautiful son, Cole, who he loved very much. Despite his earthly challenges, Jesse was strong and fought hard. He was a friend to all, and
touched countless lives. Specifically, his recovery family. We are grateful to all those who believed in him and helped him in his life's journey. Jesse is survived by his son Cole Egbert, parents Aaron and Kristine Egbert, brother Jeremy (Jen) Egbert, sister Lacey (Jon) Stinson, brother Zach Egbert, brother Alex Egbert, sister Katie Egbert, as well as his grandmother Joye Thomas, many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends Preceded in death by his grandparents Reid and Marian Egbert and Robert Thomas..
Jesse, we love you! We already miss you so much!! We are grateful we got to see your smile and see you enjoy life again. We take comfort that you are at peace.
