A North Carolina woman who found her husband and a couple in bed together murdered all three people before putting at least one body in a wheelbarrow and taking the corpse out back to her burn pile, a chilling 911 call reveals.

"My sister-in-law has told her family that she killed her husband, that she caught him sleeping with another woman, that she cleaned up the bullet cases and took care of the body," a caller who identified himself as a brother-in-law of the alleged triple-murderer, Crystal Gambino, told police.

The caller then said that Gambino "is moderately crazy, so we don't know ... this isn't the first time she's made up stuff before."

The tip ended up being spot on, according to police.

When cops arrived at Gambino's Charlotte, N.C., home on Monday night, they found the naked, dead bodies of her husband — Giovanni "Gio" Gambino — and the couple he was caught in a tryst with — 33-year-old Stephanie Lynn Sanchez and 39-year-old Glenn Gilliland.

Sanchez's body was found behind the house, confirming the tip provided by Crystal Gambino's unnamed brother-in-law, who said that she had told her family that "she said one of them might be in the backyard."

The couple involved in the threesome with Gio Gambino lived together at the $55 per night Greenleafe Inn, a motel in Charlotte.

"These are people that met, had interaction and then came together," Gaston County Police Capt. Curtis Rosselle told the Gaston Gazette. "And then the third party did not like it and took action."

The crime of passion took place on Monday night when Crystal Gambino walked in on the threesome.

After she killed the trio, she picked up her 9-year-old daughter from school and took her to a family member's house in a neighboring town of Stanley, where police found her and took her into custody.

Gambino's relationship with her husband had been rocky, according to the Charlotte Observer.

In 2009, Crystal took out a restraining order against Gio and filed for divorce, requesting custody of the couple's 9-year-old daughter — but the case was dismissed.

At one point in 2009, however, Gio was charged with threatening his wife. Those charges were dismissed, too.
