A man who admitted to killing a teenager from Republic is scheduled to be sentenced on Tuesday.

Christopher Jorgensen, 29, of Ava, pleaded guilty in July to second-degree murder for the death of Kenny Stout. Prosecutors say Jorgenson and Nathan Jensen, 26, beat Stout in the woods near Ava in December 2011. Police say the two came back later and fatally stabbed Stout.

Investigators said the men attacked Stout for teasing one of them.

As for Jensen, he was found guilty this month of second-degree murder as well. His sentencing is set for Jan. 6.
