Toxicology results show a pregnant woman who was found dead in a car in Delaware County died of heroin intoxication.

According to the Delaware County Sheriff's Office, Deanna Ballman, 23, died of acute heroin intoxication, but the manner of death is still undetermined.

A toxicology report released by the Delaware County Coroner's Office Monday notes that Ballman's blood tested positive for morphine, monoacetylmorphine, acetylcodeine, and traces of codeine, commonly known as heroin.

Ballman's body was found in a car in the front yard of an abandoned farmhouse along the 12000 block of Belevheimer Road on Aug. 1.

An autopsy on Ballman's body showed no signs of trauma.

She had bruising on the inside of her left elbow, and a needle puncture and bruising on her left thigh.

Relatives told NBC4 that investigators said Deanna went to clean a home on Turner Close in northeast Columbus in response to an advertisement on Craigslist.

Deanna's mother said that according to police, it was the last home Deanna went to clean.

When Deanna did not respond to phone calls, her mother called police.

Investigators searched the home on Turner Close twice, and confiscated a computer. Neighbors said investigators seized six bags of items from the home.

It's the home of a doctor, who has not been charged in the case.

Relatives said Deanna had just moved back to Ohio and was separated from her husband who lives in Colorado. They said she was hoping to return to school to study dentistry.

The FBI is assisting in the investigation, which is ongoing by the sheriff's office.

Officials said they are treating her death as "suspicious."
