The baby boy from Alamance County who survived a car crash that killed his mother on her way to the hospital to deliver has now died.
Baby Will Riggans died at the hospital Tuesday. He had been born nine days earlier. His parents got into a car crash in the pouring rain on their way to the hospital to deliver the baby. Doctors kept his motheralive long enough for Baby Will to be born, then she died.
Reports say the baby was deprived of oxygen in the womb because of the crash.
