Cody Lee McLendon, 25, born in San Marcos, TX passed away suddenly March 2 in a traffic accident. Son of Paula Diffee McLendon and Randall Lee McLendon, maternal grandson of James and Jane Diffee, paternal grandson of Dorothy McLendon and recently deceased Lewis McLendon, brother to Jonathan Richardson. He is also survived by girlfriend Amelia Decker, many aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and his dog and loyal companion, Maggie. Cody graduated from San Marcos H.S. in 2004 as a star football player and was recently enrolled in Oak Hill Fire Academy, where he rapidly rose to the rank of Lieutenant of his group. Ever since his birth on 9-11-1986, at 9:11 AM, he dreamt of becoming a firefighter and had finally begun to achieve it. He is now helping put out fires and saving lives from Heaven.
