A Buna teen has been charged with capital murder in the Beaumont shooting deaths of a Port Arthur woman and Vidor man.

The bond for Keith Wayne Johnson, 19, is scheduled to be set on Thursday in the shooting deaths of Amanda Hope Rierson, 29, of Port Arthur, and Beau Edwin Barron, 27, of Vidor, according to a press release from Beaumont Police Department.

Beaumont Police Department's Patrol Division Officers, responding a call of shots fired in the 2500 block of Campbell at about 3:59 a.m. Feb. 15, found a white male deceased and a white female mortally wounded inside a vehicle that was in the driveway of 2530 Campbell.

Officers immediately summoned Beaumont EMS but the female died before paramedics could arrive at the scene. Both victims appeared to have suffered from multiple gunshot wounds.

Detectives obtained an arrest warrant for capital murder in the deaths of Rierson and Barron about 9 p.m. that night from Judge Kenneth Dollinger. Police said Johnson made a statement regarding the shootings.
