Jerrome Arthur Brehme, 39, Springfield, passed away Wednesday August 24, 2011 in Cox South Hospital.

He was born June 12, 1972 in Manchester, Iowa to Kurt and Kathleen (Maggert) Brehme. Jerrome was a great father that loved his children. He had a heart for God, always giving and caring for other people. He also loved to work.

Jerrome was preceded in death by his parents and three siblings, Bobby Bass, Arthur and Zane Hertenstein.

He is survived by his three children, Mae Brehme, Anna Brehme, and Brandon Blackburn; six siblings, Toby Berger, Trisha Berger, Brandy Taylor, Jamie Brehme, Jason Brehme and Cody Brehme; 11 nieces and nephews; and numerous aunts, uncles, family members and friends.

Funeral services will be at 6:00 p.m. Saturday August 27, 2011 in Herman H. Lohmeyer Funeral Home, 500 E. Walnut St.

Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. until the start of the funeral service on Saturday in the funeral home.

The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the family.
