Family and friends gathered Saturday morning to say their final goodbyes to Madison Hair after her tragic accident June 22nd.

The 19-year-old, Lynn Haven teenager died 3 days after being involved in a car accident on Highway 77. Attendees were able to see Madison one last time before she was laid to rest in a private ceremony with her family.

In lieu of flowers, or food, the family asks that people consider donating to charities that support three of Madison's favorite causes.

With a passion for teaching, Madison was a determined student who loved helping others and so a scholarship in her name has been set up through the Bay Education Foundation. Donations in Madison's name can be made to the foundation at 1311 Balboa Ave., Panama City, FL 32401.

Madison also loved animals dearly and so the family is asking that donations be made to support the Humane Society's work with abandoned animals. Those donations can be mailed, in Madison's memory, to 2620 E. 15th St., Panama City, FL 32401.

Madison's last wish to one day adopt a foreign child in need, a thought she expressed often to her mother, will be honored by a fund that will support the Priscilla Children's Home in Mumbai, India. Donations for this orphanage, in Madison's name, may be mailed to the Friendship Centre, P.O. Box 15685, Panama City, FL 32406.
