FROM Paris Hilton and Marcia Hines to her beloved Broncos and Queensland State of Origin teams, 22-year-old Amy Clough touched the lives of celebrities around the globe in her fight with Hodgkin lymphoma disease.
But the celebrities weren't her only fans.
The Wurtulla girl, who would have turned 23 next Friday, inspired people all over the world with her courage, charisma and zest for life.
Friends and family of determined Amy constantly admired her positive spirit as she continually proved doctors wrong with their prognosis and pushed through the side effects that come with chemotherapy.
But after going into palliative care recently, Amy's fight ended on Thursday night.
Dad Paul Clough said she had always lit up the lives of those around her.
"She really touched everyone's hearts," he said. "She was an inspiration."
Since Amy was diagnosed at just 16, she achieved more than many teenagers dream of and more than most people accomplish in a lifetime.
While studying public relations at the University of the Sunshine Coast, she was chosen as an A-List Party Patroller at the Australian music industry's ARIA Awards in 2010, using social networking to get her name out and the votes streaming in.
Her tweets caught the attention of people around the world including socialite Paris Hilton, Hollywood actress Alyssa Milano, Australian swimming star Eamon Sullivan and NRL big man Lote
Tuqiri who all sent out her message in support of her bid for the coveted red carpet reporting role.
Amy won - and that's where she met Marcia Hines and complimented her on her great shoes.
Singer Delta Goodrem was Amy's idol and, as Delta had overcome Hodgkin lymphoma herself, Amy found strength in the songbird's lyrics.
The two met in May on Channel 9's Morning show and their photo together became Amy's proud Facebook profile pic.
Former Australian, Queensland and Broncos captain Darren Lockyer classed Amy as a friend.
The NRL great said yesterday that, as a fan, Amy was never someone who broadcast the fact she was at the games, but he always knew she was there. She was like a lucky charm.
A week before she died, Lockyer organised a special car park at Suncorp Stadium so Amy could see her beloved Broncos play the Rabbitohs.
Unbeknown to the family, he also had organised some of the Queensland Origin players to break camp at Coolum yesterday on their day off for what would have been a surprise visit for Amy.
"Amy was a special person who had a very special family who adored her," Lockyer said.
"We met in 2006 when she was first diagnosed with lymphoma and never once did I hear her complain.
"Every time I saw Amy, she asked after me and my family and was genuinely interested in the welfare of others.
"She cared about people and she particularly cared about her Broncos and the Queensland team."
Lockyer described Amy as courageous, determined and someone with "plenty of fight in her".
"She epitomises the kind of player you want standing beside you on the footy field," he said.
"I will miss her, but I'm happy she is no longer suffering."
Amy's funeral will be held at Gregson and Weight in Caloundra on Tuesday at 10am.
