James Allen Skrobarcek, 62, of Corpus Christi, passed away Tuesday, Mar. 6, 2012, following a brief but valiant fight with cancer. James, a 1975 graduate of the University of Texas at Austin who could frequently be heard asserting that he "bled burnt orange," was an avid UT football fan and enthusiastic and active participant in the Texas Exes. After graduating from UT, James went on to receive his JD from South Texas College of Law in 1978. Over the course of his 32-year legal career, his practice focused on civil litigation, criminal defense, and worker's comp. Visitation will begin at 5:00 p.m., followed by a Rosary at 7:00 p.m., on Sunday, Mar. 11, 2012 at Maxwell P. Dunne Funeral Service in Corpus Christi, TX. A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, Mar. 12, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Pius X Catholic Church, followed by internment at Seaside Memorial Park.
