One juvenile is dead and two are seriously injured in a single-vehicle wreck on Bethlehem Road Monday night.

The wreck occurred at approximately 6:34 p.m., according to county dispatch.

Misty Ambrose, 15, of White House, was killed in the accident, according to a Tennessee Highway Patrol report. The driver, an unnamed juvenile, was transported via LifeFlight helicopter to Vanderbilt University Medical Center. The third victim, Sarah Barnes, 14, also of White House, was transported by ambulance to Vanderbilt Children's Hospital.

According to the THP report, the vehicle, a Pontiac Grand Am, was traveling at a high speed on Bethlehem Road, and briefly went airborne. The driver lost control of the vehicle, causing it to veer off the roadway into a tree.

Criminal charges are pending in this case.

None of the passengers were wearing seatbelts, and THP investigators believe that seatbelts would have made a difference in the crash.

More information will be provided as it becomes available.
