Kolton Findley, 18, of Dawsonville died Friday April 17, 2009 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.

Born in Montgomery, Alabama, he moved to Dawson County in 2000 from Gwinnett County. Mr. Findley was a senior at Dawson County High School where he was active in drama and the arts. He was serving an apprenticeship at Lava Hair Studio.

Surviving are his mother, Katrina Bishop, Dawsonville; father, Greg Findley, Deatsville, AL; sister, Hannah Findley, Dawsonville; brother, Zechariah Bishop, Dawsonville; grandparents, Janet Gamble, St. Ignace, Michigan, Mary Ann Callaway, Montgomery; great grandmother, Jane Simmons, St. Ignace; uncles, Glen Callaway, Augusta, GA, Jamie Wadsworth, Dawsonville, James Lee Wadsworth, St. Ignace, Steve Smiley, Dunwoody, Phillip Hunt, Alaska; aunts, Amberlynn Levans, Montgomery, Susan, Clotfelter, Dacula, Denise Cripple, Deatsville, Pam Lungford, Deatsville, Kim Tumlin, College Park.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday April 21, 2009 at 4 o'clock at Bearden Funeral Home Chapel.

The family will receive friends Monday from 3 until 8 at the funeral home.

The family requests that any floral contributions be appropriate for the home.
