Desmond M. Herman, 17, Portage, died Saturday. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather and maternal great-grandparents. He is survived by his mother, Peggy (Herman) Molton, Portage; and his father, John Molton, SouthFork; stepsisters: Tara and Jessica; and a half-brother, Gary. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Mark A. Serenko Funeral Home, Portage, and from 10 to the 11 a.m. funeral service Wednesday at Trinity United Methodist Church, Portage. Committal at Mount Moriah Cemetery.
