Nalls is accused of shooting Olson in the neck on Monday night in the parking lot of the Applebee's restaurant on Lebanon Church Road.
Olson, of West Mifflin, died at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital on Tuesday.
Police arrested the suspect while he was in jail on unrelated charges.
He was arraigned overnight on charges of criminal homicide and firearms violations.
